WATCH OUT FOR FAKES

 

Apparently, I really like to shop online. You can always find something you like online, when you can't even buy it out there, eg shopping malls. But sometimes, you can also buy fake stuff , or pay your money but not get the stuff .

 

I always buy phones, mp3s, CDs, clothes, shoes, and posters online and on Trade Me. They are just so cool But always beware - don't get tricked!

EASY MONEY

 

When I heard of Trade Me, I recognised it as a good way of making money to help me save to buy things that I wanted. I tried to think of things to sell, but they were all things that I would run out of, and I would not be able to keep up the supply for my customers. I tried to think of something renewable that I could duplicate and send to people easily, but wasn't copyright.

 

So what I did was I sold copies of characters from a computer game called Diablo II. All I had to do was fi nd out where the fi le was, which was reasonably easy for this game because Blizzard (the people who made the game) had created a special folder in which the fi les were kept. People usually pay between $2 and $5 for a character, and they don't have to pay for me to send it to them, either, because I can email it.

 

Overall, it's just a fast, easy way to make money from something I like to do in my spare time.

BIN MONEY

 

Trade Me's great. I have made exactly $206 from selling a skateboard ($99) and a set of golf clubs ($107). But the cool thing is that I found both of them in a dumpster!
